The rapidly exponential growth of horticultural indoor farming is due to increased modern requirements and demands. Temperature, light and carbon dioxide levels affect the rate of photosynthesis and therefore have an impact on crop yield. The modularity of the Gro-Lux® LED Linear gives plant growers flexibility from their horticulture lighting systems to meet plant growth needs and to maximise yields. To ensure optimum growing conditions, Sylvania offers two types of LED modules with different spectrums: Vegetative and FullSpectrum+. These are easy to install with the 'push&click' system due to carefully designed electrical and mechanical interfaces. It is the right solution for any type of installation, from small greenhouse facilities to large scale installations or for indoor farming projects.
Through-wiring allows connection of multiple luminaires in a series, which can be controlled by a separate control unit. Up to 127 control units can be used together via a wireless mesh network. The network of all connected luminaires is feasible to be managed by SylSmart app via a smartphone/tablet with bluetooth connection, thus growers enjoy a smart lighting setup.
