- Petcare: The light simulates sunlight and can also be used to improve the well-being of animals in captivity.
- Horticulture: UV-A is used to grow overall healthier and stronger plants by create a stronger and healthier root system and to aid transition from indoor to outdoor growing locations (preventing UV-shock in plants)
