Sylvania explore comment un éclairage plus intelligent améliore l'expérience de vente au détail
À vrai dire, intelligent n'est pas toujours mieux. La technologie intelligente, y compris l'éclairage, peut être plus adaptée à certains environnements que d'autres. Il n'est pas nécessaire d'éclairer les vastes entrepôts tout le temps et dans toutes les zones. Cela signifie que les marchandises à faible volume qui sont rarement requises et sont situées à des centaines de mètres de l'endroit où la plupart des opérations de prélèvement et de chargement ont lieu, peuvent être stockées dans des zones sombres grâce à des analyses et des capteurs intelligents. Cela peut ne pas être aussi pertinent pour les environnements de vente au détail où le client doit pouvoir naviguer et se déplacer à volonté dans un magasin. Cependant, dans les zones de stockage, les mêmes principes s'appliquent et le même système d'éclairage intelligent peut être la solution.
L'éclairage est en bonne position pour être la clé de voute des technologies intelligentes. Peu importe que vous soyez responsable d'un seul site ou d'un ensemble, l'éclairage est installé partout et dispose d'une source d'énergie disponible, ce qui en fait le point de départ idéal pour connecter les technologies en magasin. Pour être intelligent, il ne faut pas se contenter de bouleversements ou de penser gros, mais il faut penser intelligemment. Les détaillants pourraient tirer parti de nombreuses tactiques reposant sur des technologies intelligentes. Ce qui est important, c'est votre approche intelligente : il doit y avoir une décision commerciale, que ce soit la surveillance de la fréquentation de certains types de produits pour prendre une décision stratégique sur la réduction du nombre ou du type de gammes de produits, ou que ce soit la réduction des coûts d'exploitation en diminuant la consommation d'électricité grâce à des LED intelligentes et économes en énergie (pendant les audits énergétiques, les détaillants ont montré qu'ils identifiaient généralement les possibilités de réduire la consommation d'énergie de 20 % à 30 %.
Pour continuer avec l'analogie précédente, les détecteurs de présence dans un entrepôt peuvent également être utilisés dans l'environnement de vente au détail, mais d'une manière légèrement différente. Plutôt que des capteurs on/off, les zones à volume élevé peuvent être éclairées en permanence mais les déclencheurs à gradateur permettent de réduire le niveau de lumière dans les coins les plus éloignés. Au fur et à mesure que ce type de technologie progresse et que les clients s’habituent au concept, nous devrions commencer à voir plus d’affichages automatiques qui apparaissent dans les boutiques de plein pied.
La capture de la manière dont les clients utilisent le magasin et le suivi de leur visite fournit des données critiques pouvant être analysées pour développer des trajets en magasin mieux adaptés aux besoins des clients et permettre de positionner les produits pour augmenter les ventes. Ce type de données d'occupation peut être collecté par le biais d'ajouts à un éclairage LED intelligent et fournit des informations utiles sur les habitudes d'achat et l'expérience globale de vente au détail pouvant être appliquées pour offrir des avantages opérationnels et stratégiques.
Aucun fournisseur ne peut tout faire en matière d'intelligence. Une approche de partenariat est nécessaire et la collaboration sera essentielle pour garantir que les meilleures technologies et l'expertise sectorielle pertinente se combinent pour offrir la meilleure solution possible au secteur de la vente au détail.
