Riyadh Metro Project

The Riyadh Metro Project has a total route length of 176 kilometers in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The metro will connect various parts of the city & reduce traffic congestion on the streets of Riyadh. The project has 6 rail lines, 85 stations and a budget of around $22.5 billion.
Sylvania Lighting is proud to be a part of this Mega Project in collaboration with our partner LightTech (Light Technologies Co. LTD/ Debbas Group) based in Saudi Arabia. Sylvania Lighting supplied downlights to Metro lines 1, 2 and 3 that includes 64 stations with products of 10 and 20 watts, IP40 and IP65 rated. This Mega Project took us 2 years of hard work to design, test, manufacture and supply such a large number of downlights.
