Campus Yours in Leiden, sustainably lit with Sylvania fixtures.
Campus Yours is a modern and sustainable living environment for students and young professionals, built according to the latest energy standards. The project comprises a total of 621 apartments, spread over residential towers of different heights, up to 16 storeys high, with a communal courtyard on the roof of the carpark.
Installation of the lighting was done by the Elkor Groep installation company from Roosendaal. The “just in time” and “just in place” delivery of the luminaires was provided by Rexel Breda. Some smart solutions were devised in the collaboration. For example, 299 Insaver High Output and Low Output downlights in surface-mounted versions were used in the entrances and elevators, whereby the emergency lighting units were placed in the ceiling so that all luminaires have the same height on the ceiling.
Giotto 335 wall luminaires with emergency unit were chosen for the corridors due to their high lumen efficiency and IK10 robustness. START Waterproof luminaires were used in the carpark and bicycle shed for optimal and safe lighting. The footpaths of the roof garden on top of the carpark are attractively illuminated with START Bollard L ground luminaires.
