Concord was the original designer and manufacturer of architectural downlights and registered patent on the term “downlighter” in 1996. Ascent 100 is the result of our long heritage of downlights and it is a comprehensive range of efficient and decorative luminaires, the best-selling Concord downlighters with millions of installed lights worldwide.
It is designed for small apertures of 120mm and 160mm and perfect for any new builds or as CFL replacement. The Ascent 100 range offers high efficiency, CRI and light uniformity with a minimal-maintenance solution for spaces with a high footfall, such as open and reception spaces, corridors, circulation and break out areas.
For perfect light quality we offer our new LumiNature models with high colour rendering of CRI95-99 in 3000K and 4000K or in Human Centric Lighting Tunable White versions with SylSmart Standalone.
Furthermore, the new Ascent CRI90 delivers better colour rendering and it is an ideal choice for most residential and hospitality applications where colour accuracy is important. A range with IP65 from the front is designed for any areas where additional IP protection is required.
Accessories can be used to personalise both versions to create a unique lighting solution: the architectural Ascent 100 is compatible with a range of glass accessories, including clear and opal glass bezels, while the decorative Ascent 100 can be installed with snap-fit polycarbonate accessories, including the new Kometa accessory ring which creates a diffused, indirect halo of light onto the ceiling for decorative effect.
